Form

Back injury is no stranger to relapse.  Millions of people every year suffer from recurring back injury.  One of the most successful forms of treatment is physical therapy – but compliance is severely lacking. Why? Is it because people don’t want to feel better? Is it because it isn’t exactly fun?

In the words of former US Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, “drugs don’t work in patients who don’t take them.” The same applies to physical therapy.

This project sought to identify and solve the reason that physical therapy compliance is so low. The design process lead to Form.
